Wraparound Care
At Chirton we believe it is important to support our children and their parents in any way we can and that is why we offer a Breakfast and After School club facility on site, to help working parents who require out of school hours care for their children. The children must be registered at the school or Pre School and in years Reception to Year 6 for school or 2-4 yrs in Pre School. The group comes under the umbrella of the school's Ofsted registration and is run by staff who are employed by the school.
Our Breakfast Club runs from 7.45 a.m. to 8.45 a.m. in the morning. The children are provided with breakfast cereal, toast and fruit with juice, milk or water.
Our Afterschool Club runs from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. Parents can either book the first hour (3.15 to 4.15 p.m.) or the full session until 5.00pm or 5.30pm, we try to be as flexible as we can outside these timings. Those children who are taking part in clubs until 4.00 p.m. can then go into Afterschool Club if needed.
If you would like to book a session, please order online via ParentMail. If it is your first booking please make sure you also complete a registration form and medical registration form and return to the office. We will keep this on file. Payment can be made at the time of booking. Alternatively, payment can be arranged through childcare vouchers.
The staff who run Breakfast and After School Club all have an enhanced DBS Clearance as well as a first aid qualification and they have undergone appropriate safeguarding training.
